The Blogs Are Back!

A bit of a topsy turvy start for everyone in this neck of the woods trying to celebrate Xmas and New Year without friends and family due to the COVID merry go round – but hey we survived.

Australia – the lucky country.

We were thrilled to see that Clyde Campbell received his appointment as a Member (AM) of the Order of Australia (General Division) in recognition of his significant service to people living with Parkinson’s disease. Clyde is a founding director of The Shake It Up Foundation for Parkinson’s Research and devotes much of his time and personal finances to facilitate the research into finding a cure for Parkinson’s disease. We have been supporters of The Shake It Up Foundation since its’ inception and the honour is so well deserved. Clyde, who suffers from Parkinson’s disease, is an incredible individual and both he and his wife Carolyn, along with their children are a beacon to us all.

MARKET CONDITIONS

2021 is here and looks set to continue on the highs of 2020. The magic recipe of low stock levels mixed with low interest rates and a plethora of buyers, offers the perfect ingredients for a strong market for vendors on the lower north shore.

If you are thinking of selling and would like some honest and sensible advice on how best to achieve the maximum possible in the current arena, please call me. I offer 100% personalised service - rare around here, I know. Something else...I actually care!

No one can predict how this year will turn out, but it is looking like a promising growth period again for housing in our area in spite of COVID. As they say, you have got to be in it to win it – and the same goes for all you buyers out there too. I think we are all having to get used to unpredictability being the new norm! Acting now rather than planning for months or years later – COVID has shown us that we just don’t know what is around the corner and that goes for property prices too.

A big welcome to all of our new tenants who were really appreciative of us working through that holiday period. We do what it takes!
